The police have finally figured out that Major Lilywhite (Robert Buckley) is the Chaos Killer and have arrested him in the episode "Reflections of the Way Liv Used To Be." However, Major has just turned back into a zombie so his hunger for brains is going to be a huge predicament while he's in jail.

Show creator Rob Thomas told TV Guide that it would be interesting to see how Major copes in jail in the episode "Dead Beat."

"It's the driving question of this next episode just before the finale. It's, 'What are they going to do about Major in jail?' And Liv will go to great lengths to save him," he said.

Major has always been firm about not wanting to become a zombie so Thomas said that they intentionally gave him positivity brains first so fans will skip seeing him "wrestle with those demons" for a while.

And while his good friend Ravi (Rahul Kohli) managed to come up with a zombie cure, it unfortunately comes with a hefty drawback: those who take it lose their memories.

Blaine DeBeers (David Anders) was forced to take it when he was on the brink of death, and now he has no clue who he is or what he is doing.

Thomas said that they are actually having a lot of fun with Blaine's new storyline.

"Who is Blaine if he doesn't remember all these horrible things he did? Is he just wired down to his core to be a criminal? Or if he doesn't have memories of his abusive father or horrible upbringing or all the things that may have turned him to crime, who is he now and how does he fit into the universe?" he questioned.

For the finale, Thomas even teased that Blaine will be forced to make a decision that wi ultimately make him either the hero or the villain.

Meanwhile, Thomas told Collider that fans should expect to be blown away in the season finale episode entitled "Salvation Army."

He said there was a good reason why they "saved all year" and kept the action scenes in season 2 to a minimum thus far.

"So that we could blow it out on this final episode, and we really do. It's as close to a traditional zombie movie as we will or have ever done," he said.

"iZombie" season 2 airs every Tuesday on The CW.
