Comparisons between Disney's animated film "Frozen" and the new movie "The Huntsman: Winter's War" cannot help but be drawn, especially since Emily Blunt's character Freya looks a lot like Princess Elsa of Arendelle. Plus, they both have ice powers.

But Jessica Chastain, who plays the warrior Sara in the film, believes that there are more things that tie the two films together.

"Everything is more interesting when there's balance involved, and if you look at movies like 'Frozen,' and what these fairy-tale films have been in the past and what they are now, you do see a change," Chastain told The Belfast Telegraph.

"Love is a very important part in these movies. In 'The Huntsman,' (there's the love between) Sara and Eric, but also between the sisters," she continued. "But it's not finding a mate and settling down, that's not the be-all and end-all."

The actress said that she loved "Frozen" because they highlighted the love and bond shared by sisters.

Meanwhile, Blunt said that she appreciates how "The Huntsman: Winter's War" is changing the landscape of gender inequality in Hollywood.

"Women are proving time and time again that they can be a part of big-action blockbusters and fantasy films like this," she said. "The thing that drew me to this in particular, was the three very powerful female leads; layered, nuanced, interesting characters. That was a big part of the draw."

Even Chris Hemsworth, who plays Brighton the Huntsman, cannot help but agree. The actor said that having Chastain, Blunt, and Charlize Theron as his co-stars really helped him perform better.

"I didn't want to be alone to carry the thing,'' Hemsworth told The Daily Telegraph. "And to be honest, I far more enjoy the ensemble set up, where you are pushed by one another in the best possible way."

"The Huntsman: Winter's War," which is directed by Cedric Nicolas-Troyan, will make its way to cinemas on April 22.
