The 2016 MTV Movie Awards are finally upon us, and we can’t wait to see some of the Hollywood’s hottest stars come out to celebrate a year of highly entertaining films.

We have all the information you need to gear up for the award show, including where to watch the red carpet and the show live stream, as well as who's performing and hosting.

Date: Sunday, April 10, 2016

Network: MTV and MTV2

Pre-show Coverage: Red carpet coverage starts on MTV at 7:30 p.m.

Award show time: 8 p.m.

Where: Warner Brother Studios in Burbank, California

Where to watch show live stream online: If you don’t have access to a TV, you can stream the live show HERE. Fans also start their MTV Movie Awards streaming coverage a day earlier at 8 p.m. on April 9 by tuning in HERE or logging on the to MTV App.

Things to know:
Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and comedian Kevin Hart will be hosting the award show.

Presenters will include a slew of A-list actors like Charlize Theron, Chris Hemsworth, Jessica Chastain, Seth Rogen, Zac Efron, and Olivia Munn. Supermodel Gigi Hadid and Grammy winning rapper Kendrick Lamar are also slated to hand out awards.

Ariana Grande will make her MTV Movie Awards debut and perform her new hit song “Dangerous Woman.” Halsey will also hit the stage and perform her newest single, “Castle,” from the soundtrack of “The Huntsman: Winters War.”

The 2016 MTV Movie awards will celebrate legendary award winning actor Will Smith with the biggest award of the night, The Generation Award.

Nominations: There are 14 award categories including nostalgic MTV favorites like Best Hero, Best Villian and Best Fight. Check out some of the nominees for the biggest award categories of the night below.
