Season two of the Starz series "Outlander" is finally here. Fans will not only be able to see a new setting in 18th century Paris, but they will also be impressed with the new costumes.

Fashion & Style got a chance to talk to "Outlander" costume designer Terry Dresbach at the Saks Fifth Avenue "Outlander" window unveiling on Thursday, April 7, in New York.

"I started screaming," Dresbach said when she found out that her designs would be featured on display at Saks. "I mean who gets to do this? You know? Who gets to have their costumes in the windows of Saks?"

She wasn't the only person in awe.

Caitriona Balfe, who plays lead character Claire Fraser in "Outlander," admitted, "We didn't know that our little show that we were making in Scotland was even going to find an audience, and now [for the] beginning of season two to be in Saks Fifth Avenue windows, that's pretty major."

Balfe continued: "They're gorgeous. This is the first time we're seeing [the windows]. We know Terry has been working on them really hard. It's really cool. This is a really cool thing."

The Saks display had just the right combination of glamour, sophistication and drama. Dresbach the 18th century era as "one of the sexiest, most amazing periods," emphasizing that she incorporated runway trends that are reminiscent of the 18th century, including 1948 Dior.

"Chanel did it in 2015. Lagerfeld's been doing it forever and Vivienne Westwood," Dresbach said of her approach. "So we just kind of kept going, and we connected to the 1940s, Dior, Balenciaga, Balmain, those designers for Claire. So we're all over the place. It's really great."

"[Claire] is a modern, strong, really powerful woman who gets thrown back to the 18th century where supposedly women aren't going to be allowed [to be] that, and she just takes it. She takes it and makes it her own, and that is the heart of the story. That's what attracted me to reading the books, and it made me agree to do the show," Dresbach gushed.

Although she described the costumes as "big and bold" for season two of "Outlander," sometimes the hardest thing for Dresbach was placing the actors on set: "When you have five people or 15 people sitting around a dinner table and one's wearing chartreuse and the other's wearing lavender and the other's wearing, you go in there and you go, 'You guys cannot switch anybody's seat. You can't put that color next to that color.' It's a constant choreography of color. It was tricky. It was amazing."

Loyal "Outlander" fans may have stood outside for hours to see the display, but it's safe to say Dresbach's husband, Ronald D. Moore, the executive producer of "Outlander," is her number one fan.

"She inspires me with her creativity and just the imagination that she brings to the job," Moore said. "I know that she'll do something spectacular, and I can concentrate on other aspects of the show."

If these show-stopping displays are an indication of what we can expect from season two, "Outlander" fans are in for an amazing season!

Be sure to tune into the "Outlander" season two premiere on Saturday, April 9, at 9 p.m. ET on Starz.
