Shahrukh Khan And Salman Khan Movie ‘Raees,’ ‘Sultan’ Clash Getting ‘Awkward’?

There’s been an ongoing feud between Shahrukh Khan and Salman Khan for quite some time. After hugging it out at an Iftar party last year and again this year, showing that they are on good terms, it looks like they continue to clash when it comes to being number one at the box office.
Previous reports were stating that the two actors were going head-to-head at the box office with their films, “Raees” and “Sultan," and they're apparently ready to fight it out.
There has been a variety of reports stating that both the actors are fighting for the Eid release date, and that neither of them are changing the date. After a lot of speculation, SRK is finally speaking out about the clash.
“I think logic will be to shift (release dates of both ‘Raees’ and ‘Sultan’),” said SRK according to Times of India. “We will try to figure out a way so that it doesn’t eat into each other’s business. It is awkward ... it’s like what are we doing. I don’t think we like to have it (box office clash).”
Khan continued to say that if Salman and the makers of “Sultan” feel that Eid belongs to them, then the makers of “Raees” would be open to shifting the date.
“If they are adamant or fixated that somehow due to some sense of righteousness Eid belongs to Salman Khan so be it,” added SRK.
SRK admitted that they are trying to work things out and that there is no rivalry between the producers Aditya Chopra and Farhan Akhtar.
Although SRK and Salman are set to fight it out at the box office, they still support each other with their films.
We’ve seen SRK and Salman praise each other on their work, showing that they have become close again. However, a source close to the industry revealed that the two actors are not really what they appear to be, and are feuding over their films’ releases.
“Things aren’t the way like they were a few months back. Their fun and banter on the ‘Bigg Boss’ special episode was genuine, but now they have a reason to hold a grouse against one another. Both their films are releasing on the same day and neither of them is ready to opt out of the race,” said the source, according to Filmi Beat.
“Sultan” and “Raees” are both set to release on Eid this year, and neither of the actors are backing off from the competition as they know that the holiday will play a big factor in their film’s success.
“Salman is going all out to ensure that there is no delay from his end. He’s been disciplined in terms of meeting the planned schedule and has promised Adi that ‘Sultan’ will release on Eid,” added the source.
