Monday, April 11, was day two of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's official tour of India and Bhutan.

Arriving in New Delhi today, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge layed a wreath in honor of India's war dead and Catherine was forced to deal with a wardrobe malfunction.

The Duchess was wearing the Wool Crepe Midi Dress from one of her favorite designers, Emilia Wickstead. The cream frock has short sleeves, flap breast pockets and a flared skirt.

The Duchess styled the outfit with a new bag, the Bayswater clutch from Mulberry, Rupert Sanderson heels and her Cassandra Goad Temple of Heaven earrings. It was, in theory, an ensemble entirely appropriate for the occasion.

However, as the couple laid a wreath of marigolds at the foot of the memorial for the Unknown Soldier, a strong gust of wind caused the otherwise prim dress to start misbehaving. There was a Marilyn Monroe moment for the Duchess as the hem of the gown started to fly up and she found herself forced to repeatedly battle with it.

Catherine dealt with the situation with her usual aplomb and all was well.

From there, the Royal couple paid their respects to Mahatma Gandhi at a museum in Old Birla House, the site where India's founding father was assassinated in 1948.

Later, Catherine changed into a loose fitting Temperley London crop top and embroidered long skirt for a party attended by senior Indian politicians and other VIPs to mark the Queen's 90th birthday.

According to Temperley, another one of the Duchess' favorite brands, the £830 Delphia crop top "carries the season's theme of global curiosities with opulent embroidery motifs of Indian chintz and lattice."
