"Grey's Anatomy" season 12 will continue to be tension-filled and drama-laden, according to Jason George, who plays Dr. Ben Warren on the hit ABC show.
In an interview with MovieFone, George teased a few details about what fans can expect to see in the remaining episodes of season 12.
"We've been teasing how Ben and Bailey have a lot of issues," the actor said. "There's a lot of friction when it comes to the fact that she's not just his boss, but his boss's boss."
George continued: "We tease that she earns a lot more money than him. Well, that's going to come to a really explosive head."
The actor added that his character will have a difficult time dealing with the fact that he has to, in a way, start over now that he has transitioned from being a general practitioner to a surgeon.
"So there's some situations coming up that are going to push all that really to an explosive level, and inevitably it spills over to their relationship," George added.

But it will not only be Ben and Bailey's relationship that will get affected, according to George. The other people in their lives will also get a taste of the tension.
"This thing affects his relationship with everybody," George said. "It goes down the line and people have to, everybody's got to take on this one. Yeah, it gets into everybody's face."
Apart from Ben's personal issues with Bailey, he will also deal with a problem regarding his career. The next two episodes of the season will highlight one of the biggest decisions Ben has made during his time as a surgeon, and the consequences will be difficult to face.
The synopsis for episode 18 reads, "After a missing child forces the hospital into lockdown, Ben decides to operate on a pregnant mother without the proper surgical equipment. Miranda, as Chief, is faced with the repercussions of the event and whether or not Ben's impulsive actions were justified."
"Grey's Anatomy" airs Thursdays, 8 p.m. on ABC.
