'Pretty Little Liars' Season 7 Premiere Date Announced; Charlotte To Return?

"Pretty Little Liars" season 7 has been given a premiere date! The hit Freeform show starring Lucy Hale, Ashley Benson, Shay Mitchell, Troian Bellisario and Sasha Pieterse will return on the small screen on June 21, according to Just Jared Jr.
The news comes a few days after series creator Marlene King revealed the title for the upcoming season's first episode. The producer posted a photo of the first page of the script bearing the title "Tick-Tock, Bitches." She captioned the photo, "First #PLLTableReAd of season 7."
Apart from the title, King also teased the first sentence in the script, which reads: "FADE IN: The quiet calm of a moonlit night in the forest outside of Rosewood."
King also shared a few details about the upcoming season during an interview Variety.
Speaking of the show's big villain, King said, "There will be hints of it within the season. It's a roadmap, as we say. There are a lot of twists of turns, but I will say that both of the season 7 finales [midseason and ended] will be even more epic than what [fans saw during the season 6 finale]."

The producer also teased a probable look into how the partnership between Mary Drake (Andrea Parker) and Elliot (Huw Collins) came about and how Charlotte (Vanessa Ray) played a part in it.
"We have a plan for some flashbacks with Vanessa, who plays Charlotte," King said. "And we hope we can get her back on the show because she's on 'Blue Bloods,' but that story will be told and hopefully through flashbacks."
King added: "There is a rich history between Charlotte and the character that we know as Elliot Rollins, and we'll learn a lot more about that in season 7 and why Rollins is doing what he's doing."
