Shahrukh Khan Movie ‘Fan’ Wouldn’t Happen Without Actor, How The Film’s Story Was Created

One of Bollywood’s most successful actors, Shahrukh Khan, has already signed three new films in 2015, and will be released later this year. As we’ve been seeing some behind-the-scenes looks of his upcoming film “Fan,” the creator of the film is revealing how he got the idea for the story.
The creator of the film, Maneesh Sharma, revealed that “Fan” wouldn’t have happened if it wasn’t for SRK. He got the idea for the movie after seeing the frenzy outside SRK’s Bandra residence.
According to Movie Talkies, Sharma said that “Fan” was written with SRK in mind and that he was the only actor who could have played both the characters well. He added that he was adamant on having Khan on board and after the actor gave his approval for the film, everything just came together.
Many Bollywood stars, including Salman Khan, have shown support for SRK’s upcoming film. However, one filmmaker, Karan Johar, took to Twitter to express his joy over the upcoming release.
Johar claimed that he is dying to see the Maneesh Sharma directed move, saying, “Dying to see #fan! @iamsrk...do you think Adi will show it to anyone before the 15th???” [sic]
It was recently revealed that Waluscha De Sousa is making her Bollywood debut in the SRK film, and she will be turning into a bride for a day. She recently hinted at her look during Lakme Fashion week, when she walked the ramp for designer Saroj Jalan.
SRK will be playing himself in “Fan,” which has a double role where he plays the superstar as well as his biggest fan.
“‘Fan’ has been the most difficult film of my life and at the same time it’s the most special film as well,” said SRK to Bollywood Life.
“‘Fan’ is not just about the love of the fan for his favorite superstar. In the film, eventually Guarav and Aryan are pitted against each other and it’s the superstar who plays the nemesis to the fan,” said a source about the film.
SRK will be playing two different ages in the film and confirms, “What I do in ‘Fan’ is what the film is about. Gaurav is 25 years old in the film and it’s not because I want to play or look like a 25-year-old in my film. It’s a story about a 25-year-old fan and a 45-year-old superstar. The character of Aryan Khanna has still not been introduced so when we reveal his look, the difference should be evident. When the comparison will come to the fore, it will look really beautiful, inshallah!”
