This Friday? Black Friday?
Are we going to get another installment of Ice Cube's Friday? It looks like we may see Chris Tucker in Last Friday if this picture is any indication of such.
The story is always changing whether Chris Tucker will get in to his character Smokey again. If you aren't familiar with this story Chris vowed not to do another Friday when he was a big action star in his Rush Hour days and didn't owe the IRS. There were stories that Chris felt that he was too big of a star to do the film, as well as him citing religious reasons as to why he couldn't do it and supposed claims from Cube that he wanted an absurd amount of money. Here's what Cube had to say recently:
“I’m still writing [the screenplay]. I’m still in the process, I’m deep into it…[the title is] Last Friday,” he noted. “I want [Chris Tucker] to be in it. He’s given us every indication that he’s gonna be in it. Until he shows up on set, you never know. That’s really how it goes.”

Just a few hours ago Ice Cube assured us of news to come via his Twitter.
"I'll have a "Last Friday" movie update for ya'll next week."
We shall see, the flick should be called Payday Friday since Chris would be using the money to pay his extensive IRS debt. The entire original cast is said to be on board for Last Friday as well.
If Regina King and Nia Long aren't in the movie I don't want to see it...
