Essence's Black Women In Music Event

New York isn't the only place popping this week, with the Grammy awards just around the corner (3days) Los Angles is buzzing with the music industry's greats. Some of Black Hollywood's hottest female celebs (and a few men) came out fashionable and bubbly for Essence's Black Women In Music event last night. The two honorees of the evening were Ms. Sylvia Rhone (love her!) and Kelly Rowland...take a looksee at a few of my favs of the night.


First and foremost our lovely honorees 


Everyone in attendance looked beautiful but these just happen to be my fav looks of the evening. If I posted all the pics I'd be here for what felt like forever...kudos to all in attendance.

After being serviced Tracey flashed smiles to photogs while walking barefoot in a parking garage and waiting for valet to bring her vehicle... barefoot I said!! This is one beautiful woman, but my gosh barefoot in public on the grounds of a parking garage is straight dirtball.

They participated in an art class at the center which is run by the charity Salaam Baalak. The charity provides emergency help and long term support for the children who live at the railway station in New Dehli. For the visit, Catherine wore a red and navy maxi dress with an intricate print, flowing silhouette and lace up detailing. The dress is from British High Street brand, Glamorous and costs £50. Afterwards, the royal couple had lunch with the Indian Prime Minister, Narenda Modi, in New Delhi's Hyderabad House. The engagement saw another change of clothes and hair style for the Duchess.
