The Mayor of Baltimore vs Jada Pinkett Smith (and her aunt)

Instead of being somewhere concerned about green hair dye and young teenage girls drinking coffee, Jada Pinkett Smith is writing cry for help type letters to Baltimore's mayor, Stephanie Rawlings- Blake, in an effort to prohibit the use of elephants at the Ringling Bros.Circus coming to Baltimore's 1st Mariner Arena next week.

After receiving the letter the mayor didn't even respond TO Jada yet took to the media and issued nothing less than a she can kiss my ass with that dumb shit type response. Even stating that she liked the circus and wasn't too concerned about the elephants per the Baltimore Sun. THIS prompted another letter AND Jada's aunt, Karen, to join in on the argument...over the circus...and the elephants at the circus.

You have to read this shit...

“Unlike me and other actors, elephants do not choose to perform,” Pinkett Smith wrote. “These endangered elephants will soon be in your jurisdiction. My friends at PETA and I join animal advocates across the state in asking for your leadership in holding Ringling accountable and requiring the circus to comply with Baltimore’s absolute prohibition of the use of devices such as bullhooks.”

“We’ve reached out about homelessness, about school issues,” Rawlings-Blake told WJZ. “I would have loved to gotten some feedback, support or concern about those issues that are very pressing to the city.”

"People listening to what [the mayor] said would think Jada Pinkett hasn't done anything for Baltimore and that's not true," said Karen Evans, "I wanted to set the record straight."

 Evans said she was "just really taken aback" by the mayor's undercut.

Now ain't this some shit, I'm all for human and animal rights but is it that serious for these types of responses and efforts on behalf of these women? Someone needs to be the bigger person and STOP talking to the media.
