I, like many people I know, am not moved by Tyler Perry comedies but I do kinda get into his more dramatic efforts. Anyway, after seeing how caring Tyler has been with the Houston family immediately after Whitney Houston's death and even months after her passing really has me looking past judging this guy on his films solely. Tyler's eulogy at Whitney's funeral not only was highly appropriate and fitting but genuinely moving as well. THEN he goes on to give Bobbi Kristina a role, after she spoke of wanting to act, on his new TBS show For Better or For Worse . Now of course you can say she landed the role because she was Whitney's daughter and he was Whitney's friend but you can also say he wasn't he forced to either.   This year’s Billboard Awards airing this Sunday, May 20th at 8pm on ABC, is planning a tribute to honor Whitney Houston. A Millennium Award will also be awarded to her legacy said to be accepted by Whitney’s daughter, Bobbi Kristina, and her sister-in-law Pat Houston. Can someone tell me why Pat is involved? I know this is an honoring moment but Bobbi Kris is no child, she could obviously accept this award on her own, something tells me she didn’t ask for Pat to shadow her.  Let me be more specific…I don’t know much about Pat Houston, who was once Whitney’s manager, but the vibe I got from her during the Oprah Winfrey interview wasn’t the best. Her recollections leading up to Whitney’s death seemed off but more than that something about her didn’t come off very genuine.
