William and Middleton will be around big stars such as Shahrukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Rishi Kapoor, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Farhan Khan, Hrithik Roshan and more. The royal couple will be entertained at the Taj Mahal Palace Hotel in Mumbai for an Indian fundraiser. The reception and dinner will raise funds for three charities the couple will have met earlier during their first day in India. The charities are: Magic Bus, Doorstep, and India’s Childline, which support vulnerable children in Mumbai and across India.

The event will reportedly consist of a lot of Bollywood dancing and music with 200 Indian film, sport and business figures. William and Middleton will get to talk to the stars as well as cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar as well.

The fundraising even is organized by the British Asian Trust whose members include Syco executive Sonny Takhar, who works with Simon Cowell and One Direction.
“It would be remiss of them to go to India and not experience Bollywood culture because it’s such an important part of the cultural fabric of the country,” said Takhar to The Mirror UK. “it’s fantastic they’re going to experience it.”
Sir Dominic Asquith KCMG, British High Commissioner to India, said, “Their Royal Highnesses are delighted to have this opportunity to celebrate India’s notable contribution to cinema and to meet some of Mumbai’s most influential people in film, sport and business.”
During their stay in India, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will also reportedly have lunch with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday in New Delhi.
