New spoilers for "Game of Thrones" season six hinted that the red priestess Melisandre could realize that her visions about Stannis Baratheon being the prophecized hero Azhor Ahai were wrong and she might make plans to resurrect Jon Snow.

Winter Is Coming reported that HBO released the official synopsis for the season premiere, which is called "The Red Woman."

The synopsis hinted Melisandre of Asshai and Stannis Baratheon's loyal friend Davos Seaworth are going to be reeling from the fact that the Night's Watch murdered Lord Commander Jon Snow.

Meanwhile, Daenerys Targaryen is going to meet a strong man while she is traveling with the Dothraki horde and Cersei Lannister is going to be devastated when she finds out that the Sand Snakes killed her daughter Myrcella.

TVLine pointed out that even though HBO claimed Jon Snow is dead in the premiere, there is a good chance he will be resurrected in the first half of season six.

After all, star Kit Harington was spotted filming scenes for "Game of Thrones" season six in a few paparazzi photos and he still has not changed his hairstyle.

Winter Is Coming speculated that since HBO is releasing the synopses for season six one at a time, there is a good chance Jon will be resurrected in the first few episodes and they are trying not to ruin the surprise.

It is possible that Melisandre will do a bit of soul-searching in the premiere and she will realize that her visions about Stannis Baratheon being the reincarnation of the ancient hero Azhor Ahai were wrong.

Perhaps Melisandre will figure out that all of the visions she received in previous seasons actually pointed to Jon and she will come up with a plan to bring him back from the dead.

The "Game of Thrones" season six premiere will air on Sunday, April 24, at 9 p.m. ET on HBO.
