Bipasha Basu was reportedly ready to get married when she was dating her now ex-boyfriend, Harman Baweja. However, she had moved on to dating Karan Singh Grover, and after being in a relationship for a while, are they ready to tie the knot?
Rumors of Basu and Grover’s wedding plans have been circulating a lot recently, and now pictures of the couple's pre-wedding has surfaced the Internet.
Earlier today, Basu and Grover shared some pictures from their photoshoot and they came out beautiful. In one picture, it’s easy to see the chemistry between Basu and Grover.
Basu made an official announcement about her wedding as well as the date.
“We are happy to finally share the good new with everyone. April 30, 2016 is the big day and we cannot thank our family, friends and fans and well wishers enough for all their love and support. The wedding will be a private intimate affair. Our deepest gratitude for respecting our privacy this far. We hope to have you continued blessings and warm wishes as we embark on this new journey together,” said Basu.
The happy couple have quickly started with wedding preparations and have already begun sending out the invites. According to Filmi Beat, the wedding will be an intimate Bengali-style wedding at Basu’s Khar residence which will be attended by close family and friends from both sides, on the wedding day. Basu has hired a wedding planner to help prepare for their big day.
Priyanka Chopra was one of the first celebrities to congratulate Basu and Grover on Twitter, saying, “I’m truly so happy for my friend @bipsluvurself n her handsome bridegroom to be @Iamksgofficial Ure a golden heart..u deserve so much n more.” [sic]
Basu replied, “Will miss you.Thank you sweetheart! Hugs!”
Sources revealed that in the beginning, Basu and Grover both had to face difficulties in convincing their parents to let the wedding happen, however, it looks like they both got their blessings in the end.
Basu’s father had an issue with Grover’s two failed marriages, his mom had issues with Basu’s past relationships. However, they eventually convinced their parents and got their approval to get married.
