X Factor judge and music mogul L.A. Reid hosted a private book launch party for his wife Erica's new book, The Thriving Child, last night in New York. The book is said to chronicle Erica's journey mothering two children with allergies along with alternative medications and excerpts from celebrity parents. In attendance were Beyonce and Jay Z, along with Tina Knowles and Mary J. Blige among others.

They participated in an art class at the center which is run by the charity Salaam Baalak. For the visit, Catherine wore a red and navy maxi dress with an intricate print, flowing silhouette and lace up detailing. The dress is from British High Street brand, Glamorous and costs £50.
