The Weekend Wrap Up
In case you missed the memo I don't blog on the weekend...UNLESSSSSSSSSSS I'm bored or it's much needed. Anywho, here's a recap of what went on between Friday and Sunday in the event like myself you were detached from entertainment...
Do you guys know who Toure is? Piers Morgan? If you don't click on their names for additional info but for those of you that do know these guys you may know of their Twitter "beef "as some like to call it. These two are known for bumping heads and never agreeing to disagree. But after Toure called out Piers for having the audacity to interview George Zimmerman's brother and better yet not asking the proper questions Piers invited Toure on his show Friday night. Now let me tell you Piers held back no punches and although Toure fought back it was clear that Piers won this round...IMO.
Do you think this was unprofessional for both journalist to do? Although this was entertaining at the least I find the issue of Trayvon Martin's murder far greater and wished they saved the slap boxing match for something less valuing....like whether Nicki Minaj and Lil Kim should do a duet together.
In other Twitter news...many folks have been questioning why Keyshia Cole has deleted her Twitter account. Her husband, NBA player Boobie Gibson, is still on Twitter and tweeting faithfully although he out for the rest of the basketball season. Of course the first thing that is easiest to speculate is trouble in paradise. I'm not sure on this one but I would love to know the reasoning behind the deletion of her account...the worlds may never know.
Supposedly Diggy Simmons did a diss record directed to J. Cole in response to a record J.Cole did mentioning his sister, Vanessa Simmons. Now J.Cole didn't say Vanessa Simmons but he did mention Vanessa as well as in another song mentioning hooking up with a preacher's daughter.
Now this easily could have been speculation only until Diggy responded....
The funny thing about he situation is that Diggy recorded this song a while back yet it found it's fame on the internet yesterday...on April Fools Day. This little fantasy even prompted Rev Run to shorten his Sunday bubble bath to defend his son on Twitter...
"J Cole.. Puts out 2 records Dissing family & Diggy & nobody cared.. Some1 leaks a old Diggy record & there's a problem?"
then Vanessa comes out of hiding and feels the need to respond as well...
"Our brothers r protective ova us CUZ guys stay LYING. MORE IMPTLY that ish NEVER HAPPENED”
I shouldn't care about shit like this...I'm going to need Diggy to focus on his lackluster album sales as well as stay in a child's place...
Congrats to Bruce Willis and his wife, Emma, who just welcomed their first child together, Mabel Ray, into the world. Bruce still has it....
